You can validate your college-level knowledge in business or in other areas of collegiate study through a number of approved methods, including proficiency examinations such as UExcel® Examinations and College-Level Examination Program® (CLEP) subject examinations, and through Portfolio-Based Assessment of your acquired degree-related, college-level learning through your employment, community, volunteer, or other experiences.

Distribution requirements for general education ensure that all students develop basic competence (at least 100-level courses/examinations) in the areas of arts and sciences (humanities, social sciences, natural sciences and mathematics), as well as specific abilities in written English, ethics, and information literacy.
BSB – MBA Dual Degree Track
The combined BS Business/MBA is an open enrollment program. Although a background or experience in business is helpful, it is not required for admittance into the program. Anyone with a high school diploma or equivalent is eligible to apply.
Undergraduate courses in Business, not applicable to MBA foundation requirements must be no older than 15 years from the date of enrollment. Foundation courses and MBA courses must be no older than 10 years.
Minimum grades of C are required in each of the courses comprising the business component and core areas for the BSB degree. However, minimum grades of B are required for each of the five MBA foundation core courses (Business Ethics, Economics, Marketing, Organizational Behavior, Quantitative Analysis) and Bridge courses. For the MBA degree a GPA of 3.00 is required by graduation.
A grade point average (GPA) of 2.0 is required to move forward with the graduate course component. A minimum GPA of 3.0 is required to complete the MBA degree.
Students must complete all undergraduate requirements plus the bridge component requirements in order to move forward with the graduate component courses.
